Refugee All Stars of Sierra Leone....

This Monday at Nuemos be some live reggae...SOTAboys will be there, we hope to see you all...support the cause, jam out, have fun. nuff said...but in case its not, heres a blurb.

The band features the talents of Sierra Leonean musicians who had been living as refugees in the West African nation of the Republic of Guinea.  Their music decries the horrors of war and is an inspiring symbol of the healing power of music.   With the release of their first album, "Living Like A Refugee”, the band has been catapulted onto the world stage and recruited a club of A-list fans and backers including, Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Bob Geldof, Ice Cube and Aerosmith who had the group open for them.

GMK's "Songs For Bloggers" Now Available!

Seattle's very own Golden Mic King (GMK) drops his long-anticipated "Songs For Bloggers" project which will likely have bloggers feeling so self concious. It is a very conceptually tight project featuring six tracks a few of which have multiple songs (#2-5)--it is an "experience" as you would probably say, starting tracks with the *ahhhh* sound that plays when you open Windows XP. From beginning to end this will not dissapoint. Support great music, but more than that don't be caught sleeping --tune in.
